I have been fortunate enough to be mentored by the wonderful, Lindsay Muers on some key HR themes, namely performance management and absence management. Lindsay really took the time and space to get to know me and where my areas for improvement were so we could develop some goals for our mentoring relationship, she then structured a plan for me on how we could work together to achieve those goals. Her breadth of knowledge shone through as she immediately was able to coach me through some difficult situations I was encountering and she made me feel better about handling these situations. She is kind, warm, wise and professional and incredibly enthusiastic about the HR profession and she didn’t hesitate to help me when I approached her about mentoring. Lindsay has had such a varied and amazing career which I find so inspiring and she shared the things that contributed to her success which helped me to develop professionally and personally.
